Officer Imad goes to participate in the Palestine War after saying goodbye to his fiancée, the daughter of his wealthy merchant cousin. Imad is injured and his arm is amputated. He returns with a number of wounded and maimed men, which leads to a movement of discontent among the army men, that there are men behind the supply of defective weapons to the army, including Nadia’s father. A group of free officers is formed who take it upon themselves to avenge their country. Imad asks Nadia to search her father’s papers for evidence that supports them.
